New Discipleship Curriculum

We just joined in partnership with Sean International to use their Abundant Life curriculum across all of our churches..  We will be using Abundant LIfe in India, Africa and America as a basis for discipling believers.  Sean International has been serving the church for over 50 years and makes a curriculum that  specially prepared for use by ordinary people, no matter their skill level.

The Abundant life courses are designed with a two fold approach, SEAN courses are carefully programmed and self-teaching, so the student does his/her main study during the week at home, interacting with his/her Study Book, his/her Bible and other books. Then students meet once a week, with a Tutor, who, with the aid of a Group Leader's Guide, leads group dynamics to deepen students' understanding of what they studied during the week.  This two fold method will produce strong disciples in Christ.

Making disciples was a key part of Jesus’s ministry was about. Giving a believer the needed foundation in scriptural truth is important for their survival in today's world.  Our churches in Africa were trained to be heavy disciplers and wehave seen great success using this method.  James Chisupa, area director in the Copperbelt  is pictured (at top) discipling men in one of the areas he overseas.  James has a  great heart to disciple, especially the youth of Zambia.

In India the discipleship books will be purchased pre-printed (cost $3 each), but throughout Africa the books will have to be printed by one of our area directors (cost $5 each).  Please pray about helping us purchase copy machines to print these materials for our African locations ($1500 each), four copy machines will need to be purchased to facilitate the new curriculum in Africa.  Also please consider coming a discipleship sponsor to cover cost of books will need to be purchased or reproduced on a regular bases for our India and Africa believers.
